Electrical Service Upgrade
Is your home due for an electrical service upgrade? Think about
it.
If you're considering remodeling, updating a room, or adding any
major appliances, we'd like you to think long term. Are you adding
a room to your house? Do you plan to? Are you finally going to finish
your basement? Or maybe you're finally creating that Media Room
you've been talking about.
Whatever your situation, you need to think about your electrical
longevity. Your new, custom mahogany bar and your 72" HDTV
Theater shouldn't be powered with a multi-plug adapter and an extension
cord. For your safety, and the safety of your new toys, it's time
to consider an electrical service upgrade.
Remember, adding more outlets will only increase accessibility,
not your overall amount of electrical power. It only increases the
amount of drain on your existing power. An electrical service upgrade
is the only way to ensure you've got enough power for today's conveniences.
If you've got less than 200 amps coming into your house or if you're
using the outdated, screw-in fuses, you should seriously consider
an electrical service upgrade.
Call the Electric Company of Atlanta to have us come out and inspect
your existing electrical setup. We can determine if an electrical
service upgrade is even necessary. You may already have enough power
coming into your house. You may just want to move some plugs around
or install new wiring.
